  Would recommend taking a Mana Kai paddle boarding tour to anyone traveling to Sesimbra and Arrabida. It’s the best way to see the area. It does not matter what skill level you are with paddling because Nate provides plenty of instruction and makes you feel safe and confident in the water. Half way through the tour he whipped up a tasty lunch while we relaxed on a hidden beach. It’s a must do if you’re planning a trip to Portugal.

The weather was looking shaky, so Nate was more than accommodating and picked us up earlier so we could get enough time to learn and practice (the upside of the early start was that we got the whole beach and sea to ourselves, which was surreal!) He was always available for any queries we had before we met him. Nate was kind enough to provide my sister and I with delicious vegan/vegetarian food during a break from paddle boarding. Overall this was an incredible experience, and the highlight of our trip to Portugal. I would highly recommend learning from Nate, especially if you are a beginner like myself. He has great stories to... read more tell and knows all the good places to check out in the area. During the tour by car we stopped at some interesting spots. Paddle boarding is a lot of fun and Mana Kai is the only one with the real paddle boards (not inflatable ones). Highly recommend booking here! Including the winery tour is worth it as well, you will see some amazing things and try out some very local wines.
